I have prepared a video presentation specifically for you to introduce Project Violet Book -- a completely novel approach to digital high-fidelity audio playback over the network. Built upon the Red Book standard that defined the compact disc, Violet Book is a virtual and extensible network implementation of that heritage audio standard. By faithfully following the design principles of the most successful digital audio format in history, Violet Book provides extremely high-performance playback on ultra low-cost hardware -- and is designed from the ground up to respect the engineering sovereignty of downstream audio hardware makers.
